Flash streaming involves a video file (.flv extension) and a Shockwave Player (.swf extension). The Flash/Shockwave is usually embedded in a page and delivered over HTTP, while the Flash or file (e.g. Video or audio) is streamed to the player using Macromedia's RTMP protocol.
Our customers are welcome to use one of our pre-built players or have us customize their own. We supply Flash Communications Server (FCS) players with our Small Business Account and Corporate Accounts.
They are also available for purchase for Standard Account clients.
Flash Communications Server (FCS)FLV Players
This player below is an FLV player but not for use on FCS
Free FLV (Not FCS) Player with Simple Controls
|
This is a basic Progressive FLV Player with
control buttons that are externally loaded JPG images so, you can easily
customize the player by changing the 3 buttons used and the players
background color.

The player is under 5K in size and comes with the FLA file for the player
and PSD files for the buttons.
It plays an external FLV file and you can use the player dynamically by
passing the variable url to the SWF embed tag, there are examples
included. We used the Flashvars feature to pass the variable of the flv
file to be played.
The image below shows the files that make up this package.

Demo it here.
Download it here.
We will be releasing an updated version soon, with more comprehensive
controls |
