This is a quick guide for setting up your Outlook Express Email client to receive email via the secure pop3 protocol. If you already have your outlook configured previsously, you would simply need to make couple of modifications. If that is the case, then skip to Step 3.
Step 1 - Setting up a brand new account :

* Once Outlook Express starts up, select Accounts from the Tools menu.
Step 2 - The Add New Account Wizard:

* Click on Add, and then Mail
* Follow the example below while filling in your email speciffic information:
* Select POP3 from the drop-down menu and fill in the domain information below. If your domain is example.com, then this is what you put in for both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server.

* Next, fill in your email account. If your email is joe@domain.com then your Account name is joe. Finish the wizard.

Step 3 - Modifying An Existing Account:

* Now that you have created your pop3 account, you need to modify it slightly to make Outlook use pop3s protocol. Select the account you wish to modify and clink on the Properties button.

* In the dialog above, select the Advanced tab.

* Click on both radio buttons that say This server require a secure connection (SSL) for both Outgoing Mail and Incoming Mail. Notice, the port for the Incoming Mail (POP3) changes from 110 to 995
* Finally, save your settings.
Step 4 - Downloading your mail:

When connecting to the server, you might get the warning above. Click Yes to continue.
